Activity Designer (Customization Manager)

The dashboard's Activities panel groups your active activities into collapsible categories. Out of the box, Aeon groups them automatically by activity type — Class Visit, Exhibit, Tour, and so on — which works well for most sites. When you'd rather arrange them your own way — named categories like "This Semester" or "Standing Exhibits," a custom order, or certain groups collapsed by default — you customize that grouping with the Activity Designer.

The Activity Designer isn't part of the day-to-day reading-room activity workflow; it's a layout tool that lives in the Customization Manager, under the Designers group, and it requires the Designers configuration capability. It changes only how activities are grouped and ordered in the dashboard panel — never an activity's own name, dates, or details.
